01
Start with the way the entrance is used
Describe the facility, the vehicles that enter, and the people who need access. Delivery trucks, employees, visitors, and tenants can have different entry needs. Include busy periods and any existing access problems.
02
Show the opening and surrounding space
Provide the address, available plans, and photographs of the entrance from both directions. Approximate dimensions are helpful when you already have them. A site review is still needed to confirm the layout and equipment requirements.
03
Think beyond the gate leaf
The operator, credentials or intercom, power, connectivity, and supporting site work all affect the project. Tell us what is already installed and what you want to keep or change.
04
Separate requirements from preferences
List what the entrance must do, then your preferred appearance, timing, and budget considerations. This makes it easier to discuss tradeoffs and identify the next decisions.
